SEND Tutor post-16 (full-time, permanent)Stockport£750 - £900 per week (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)Start date: Sept 2025The role A vibrant, supportive and very highly regarded special needs college in Tameside is seeking to appoint a full time SEND Tutor to deliver a post-16 curriculum to students with Autism and complex needs. Ability levels can vary considerably and a willingness to deliver more than one curriculum area is desired for the role of SEND Tutor. The college has a strong emphasis on life skills and employability as for most learners this is their last experience of education. Requirements The desired SEND Tutor will have: Experience working within a SEND school or with children/young people with physical or learning disabilities of some sort is essential for this teaching role. Be dedicated and supportive, an excellent communicator, passionate about working with students with SEND.Possess a recognised UK teaching qualificationThe SEND Tutor will be required to deliver an innovative and progressive curriculum.
