The existing HSM observability is to be taken to the next level, improving resilience, monitoring capabilities and alerting.Your Responsibilities

Be part of a team that implements a new monitoring and alerting solution based upon SplunkHave specific knowledge about Thales Payshield HSMs and pull relevant data from the device (via SNMP)Collaborate with team members as SME for Thales Payshield HSMs, and with other HSMsWork closely with stakeholders to understand requirement detailsWrite a design and test specification for your responsibility in the observability projectContribute to documentation of the projectHelp define the roadmap for continual improvements in the management of cryptographic servicesIdentify potential issues timely and propose innovative solutionsSkills and Experience We Require

Good knowledge about HSMs, specifically Thales PayshieldUnderstanding of how monitoring for HSMs works with expertise in SNMPStakeholder management skills with experience of balancing needs across multiple stakeholdersTeam-oriented mindset with active contribution to discussionsInnovative mindset; able to contribute ideas for new in-house developmentsUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles and global financial services regulatory environmentsKnowledge of cryptographic modules and solutions (e.g., TPMs)Strong IT infrastructure knowledge across platformsUnderstanding of SSH/SSL functionality and usageExperience interfacing with technology teams to bring concepts to market and build scalable operational modelsFamiliarity with industry cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, ISO2700x, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIST)Windows and Linux server administrationStrong documentation skillsOptional / Nice to Have

Academic or professional qualification in cryptography or cybersecurityFormal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related fieldIndustry qualifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM)What We Offer
