MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Location: Office-based Hitchin We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to support our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial statements, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, and account reconciliation. This role requires full cycle knowledge of all areas of accounting, including tax, audit, international transactions, and banking. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations while assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts. Meet processing and reporting deadlines. Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits. Assist the Finance Team and Company as needed. Ensure accurate internal and external reporting of financial transactions and regulatory compliance. Oversee and provide support to agencies including outside accountants, auditors, bankers, vendors, tax authorities, and insurance agencies. Continually strive to create efficient accounting processes in collaboration with all internal departments. Collaborate effectively with the international finance team on global issues and worldwide finance initiatives.
