Manufacturing Team Leader Location: Hailsham, East Sussex Full-time, permanent We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Team Leader to lead a skilled production team within a successful, high-technology engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong manufacturing knowledge who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, supporting their team and improving the way work is planned and delivered. The role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of a manufacturing team, ensuring customer requirements are achieved across quality, delivery and cost. You will oversee the manufacturing process from raw material through to component finishing, working closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Engineering. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, motivating and developing the manufacturing team. Organising workloads and communicating daily priorities. Monitoring attendance, productivity, performance and standards. Identifying training needs and coordinating cross-training. Ensuring materials and components remain fully traceable throughout production. Reviewing upcoming work to ensure materials, programmes, tooling and set-up information are ready.
