Job information:

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Redditch Borough Council for a Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning and environmental support services within St David''s House, Queens Cottages and other designated Council premises.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring communal areas, dining areas, corridors and offices are maintained to a safe, clean and welcoming standard for residents, visitors and staff.
• Work independently to agreed schedules with minimum supervision.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH legislation and ensure the safe use, storage and disposal of cleaning products and equipment.
• Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Replenish consumables and report stock shortages in a timely manner.
• Identify and promptly report maintenance issues, environmental hazards and health and safety concerns.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff, escalating concerns appropriately.
