We’re hiring: Associate Electrical Engineer – Building Services | London | £75k–£90k + package

I’m working with a highly regarded, independent building services consultancy in London. They’re looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer who could become one of the people leading the firm in the years ahead.
They’re a close-knit team of senior engineers with an outstanding portfolio. Their projects include landmark commercial towers, cultural buildings and financial headquarters in the UK and internationally. Almost all of their work comes from repeat clients, which says a lot about the quality of what they deliver.
The founding directors are now looking for the next generation of leadership. For the right person, there’s a genuine route to Director level and a real say in where the business goes next.

What you’ll do:
- Lead electrical design delivery across multiple projects, from concept to completion
- Act as the senior technical authority and quality check for the electrical team
- Own client relationships and help win repeat and new work
- Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers
- Work closely with the directors on strategy, resourcing and growth
What you’ll need:
A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Substantial consultancy experience, ideally 8+ years and currently at Senior, Principal or Associate level
Deep knowledge of BS 7671, Part L and UK electrical standards
CEng, or working towards it
Confidence in front of clients, plus the ambition and commercial mindset to help run a business, not just deliver projects
£75,000 depending on experience, plus a package [benefits and any equity or profit share TBC]
