Xpert Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of a well-established business based near Newmarket. Duties will include:

- Carry out multi-drop deliveries across the UK

- Transport heavy goods safely and securely

- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects

- Ensure all loads are correctly secured before departure

- Comply with all road traffic legislation, Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations

- Follow planned delivery schedules and communicate any delays

- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of materials where required

- Complete delivery paperwork accurately

- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all delivery locations

- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle

Skills/Experience

- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

- Driver CPC Qualification

- Digital Tachograph Card

- Previous Class 1 driving experience

- Experience with multi-drop deliveries

- Experience transporting heavy or awkward loads would be advantageous

- Forklift experience would be beneficial but is not essential

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach

- Strong attention to detail

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday

Start time from 6:00am depending on delivery schedules
