Key Responsibilities Statutory Accounts: Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Strategic Financial Guidance: Deliver insightful financial advice to clients, supporting strategic decision-making. Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on regulatory developments and ensure adherence to tax laws and reporting requirements. Team Mentorship: Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their growth and development. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience within an accounting practice. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Xero is a plus.
