OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance and maintain the reputation of Aviva Investors through exceptional relationship management and client servicing. This role plays a key part in promoting a positive market perception of Aviva Investors by delivering high-quality relationship management to EMEA Institutional clients, with a particular focus on the Workplace business within Aviva Wealth. You will be responsible for managing these relationships, proactively leading engagement and supporting the Workplace team in achieving their growth ambitions. Working closely with Client Relationship Managers, you will ensure the highest standards of day-to-day client service, while also building strong relationships with subject matter experts across the business. You will sponsor client-focused projects, contribute to new product development, and take ownership of business initiatives in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders. A key part of the role involves identifying risks to existing relationships and implementing effective retention strategies. You will also lead on mandate changes and new business implementations, ensuring all stakeholders deliver a seamless service. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with sales and consultant teams across EMEA Institutional to broaden market knowledge and ensure all client activity and contact information is accurately recorded and maintained in Salesforce.
Responsibilities
Manage relationships with EMEA Institutional clients, with a focus on Workplace within Aviva Wealth.
Proactively lead engagement, sponsor client-focused projects, and support growth initiatives.
Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality client service.
Identify risks to existing relationships and implement retention strategies.
Lead mandate changes and new business implementations; ensure seamless delivery among stakeholders.
Work with sales and consultant teams across EMEA Institutional to broaden market knowledge; maintain accurate client activity and contact information in Salesforce.
Skills and qualifications
Relevant degree or equivalent experience; IMC or equivalent; CFA qualification desirable.
Experience developing relationships with Defined Contribution pension schemes and/or providers, ideally through asset management or investment consulting roles.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across Aviva Investors to build strong relationships across business areas.
Strong solutions mindset to understand developing propositions.
Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to listen to clients and understand their issues.

In this role you’ll be certified under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role, and we’ll ask questions on an annual basis to ensure you remain fit, proper, and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding an SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
