A growing accountancy practice based in Chelmsford is looking to appoint a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants the flexibility of working predominantly remotely, with only occasional travel to the Chelmsford office required. Responsibilities: As a Bookkeeper, you will Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, predominantly within the construction sector Processing sales and purchase invoices, bank transactions, reconciliations and journals Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients Preparing VAT returns and supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting requirements Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical bookkeeping support Assisting with month-end processes and providing information for management accounts and year-end accounts Requirements: As a Bookkeeper, you will need Previous bookkeeping experience, within an accountancy practice Experience working with construction clients would be highly advantageous Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar Benefits: As a Bookkeeper, you will get £30,000 - £38,000 salary Predominantly remote working Only occasional travel required to the Chelmsford office Opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients Are you looking for ..... full job details .....
