Project Manager - Planned Maintenance

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality housing improvements? We''re looking for a confident and capable professional to lead the delivery of major planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes within a busy and diverse London borough.This is a unique opportunity to take the reins of capital investment projects - overseeing large-scale improvement schemes from inception through to completion. This is an ongoing interim role, candidates must be available immediately.Key responsibilities includeLeading the design and delivery of planned maintenance programmes across council housing stockManaging a team of contract managers, customer relations officers, and technical staffControlling capital budgets exceeding 25m, ensuring value for money and financial complianceCoordinating with asset management, regeneration, and other internal teams to align workstreamsMonitoring contractor performance and implementing improvements where necessaryConsulting with residents and ensuring their voices shape the delivery of projectsProducing reports and presenting to senior leadership, councillors, and other key partnersClient Requirements Extensive experience in managing large projects and teamsQualified in MRICS/MCIOBKnowledge of the relevant Building Safety Legislation (Building Safety Bill, Fire Safety Act, Duty of Care) and the actions the Council needs to take to meet the relevant requirementsConfident using IT systems for reports, data, and ..... full job details .....
