Shift Patterns: 2 days on 4 days off Salary: £32,757.30 - £34,841.10 + Sleep in rate £40 + Overtime £17.00 per hour Summary: To be involved in shaping and delivering the home s Statement of Purpose and supporting the registered manager and team to achieve the same. To provide high quality care services that supports the needs of children and young people, to be an advocate for their well-being and to provide strong, motivational leadership to the team. Essential: Possession / Working towards - Diploma level 5 Leadership and Management Possession of Diploma level 3/4 Children and Young People Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Excellent knowledge of the care needs and care plans of specific young people Ability to take increased levels of professional responsibility Ability to identify their own and others professional, care and training needs Main responsibilities: To assist the registered manager to ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures and the Statement of Purpose for the home. Responsibility for safeguarding and promoting individual rights; providing good quality care, free from oppression, and where differences are respected and valued.
