My client is currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician. The role offers a 37 hr working week with overtime paid for any additional hours worked, 5 weeks holiday, life insurance and employee funded private healthcare.The role is Monday - Thursday 8.30-16:30 and Friday 8.30-4pm.Due to the location, a driving license and your own transport will be required.Duties include:Assemble electronic/electrical subassemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards.Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, PC boards, SMT, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc.Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies.Perform limited computer controlled operations.Ensures assembly/sub-assembly build times are met to maintain department efficiency target of 100%.Carry out job tasks safely using good working practices.Carry out all assembly work to the required department quality standards.The ideal candidate:Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamAble to maintain a high level of organisation while working under pressure to deadlinesKeen attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret designs and sketchesAn ONC in electrical/electronic and IEEE 18th Edition accreditation will put you in a stronger position, though they aren''t essential for the role.If you''re interested in a new role as an Electrical Technician and have the skills, apply ..... full job details .....
