KS2 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. Prospero Teaching is looking for a hardworking SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school; based in Newham, East London. The school is a four-form primary school with a supportive leadership team and a dynamic, inclusive learning environment committed to academic excellence and student success. We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support one-to-one with a student to help them thrive in and out of the classroom.Contract/Position Details

Location: Newham, East LondonPosition: KS1 1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantType of work: one-to-one support with a SEN student, assess student work, prepare lesson activities, assist with tests invigilationStart date: November 2025Duration: 1 term contract (may be extended)Contract type: TemporaryHours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one SEN support to a studentAssess student work and contribute to lesson plans/activitiesHelp invigilate tests and support in classroom managementExperience, Training and Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in LSA/SEN work for KS1 or KS2 preferred but not requiredUp-to-date safeguarding training issued in the past yearStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsEligibility to Apply

Have a valid right to work in the UKHold an enhanced DBS certificate with barred list check and be enrolled or willing to enrol onto the DBS update serviceOther Information
