Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Wellingborough area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with students and wants to make a genuine difference to their educational journey.

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students.

• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.

• Working alongside teachers to help students access the curriculum.

• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence.

• Helping students overcome barriers to learning.

• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

• Supporting classroom activities and contributing to a positive learning environment.

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.

• A patient, caring and supportive approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confidence working with students who may require additional support.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN TA, Behaviour Mentor, or someone with experience in youth work, care or support work who is looking to move into education.
