This is a great opportunity to work within a well-established production environment with early finishes on Fridays and consistent daytime hours.The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining projection welding machinery while ensuring all components are produced to the required quality standards safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities Set and prepare projection welding machines for production runsRead and interpret engineering drawings and work instructionsAdjust welding parameters including current, pressure, and timingLoad and position components using jigs, fixtures, and toolingCarry out first-off inspections and routine quality checksMonitor machine performance and report faults where necessaryEnsure production targets and quality standards are achievedMaintain a safe and tidy working environmentComplete production records and documentation accuratelySupport continuous improvement and process optimisation activities Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in projection welding or resistance weldingAbility to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipmentGood understanding of welding processes and quality standardsStrong attention to detail and quality-focused ..... full job details .....
