We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The Production Manager will enjoy a varied role providing leadership over two sites where you will drive productivity improvement utilising Lean and continuous improvement principles whilst also ensuring health and safety for production. The Production Manager will be required to: Provide leadership to a team of supervisors/team leaders Mentor supervisors and team leaders to ensure effective team leadership Nurture a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Coordinate, motivate, manage direct reports and shop floor employees Plan labour and resources to achieve scheduled production Managing budgets for materials, labour and repairs Responsible for maintenance of buildings, plants and services Oversee onboarding processes Organisation and allocation of work in operations Implement strategies to optimise cost management and resource allocation Requirements : Minimum of 5 years supervisory and manufacturing experience Experience of utilising Lean and Continuous improvement principles Analytical with problem solving skills A good understanding of ERP/MRP systems to ensure Bills of Materials are accurate Management of department budgets for materials, labour, repairs and maintenance A good understanding of Quality management within ISO9001 QMS Experienced ..... full job details .....
