We’re currently looking for an Assembly Operative to join a busy and welcoming timber manufacturing team based in Rochdale. You’ll be working in a fast-paced production environment, helping to assemble timber components used in the construction industry.

This is a great temp to perm opportunity with consistent hours and an early finish every Friday!

Working Hours :

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm

Pay :

• £12.21 per hour – rising to £12.71 on 1st April
• Ongoing, stable work

What you’ll be doing :

• Assembling timber components used in construction
• Measuring, cutting, and positioning materials accurately
• Using hand tools and power tools safely
• Following simple technical drawings and job sheets
• Operating production machinery
• Maintaining high quality standards
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy

What we’re looking for :

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or production (helpful but not essential)
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
• A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
