Overview Experienced HGV 1 / C+E drivers, working for a well known client that has 3 sites in the area. You will be looking for long term, on-going regular work, Monday to Friday with optional extra weekend shifts.The client operates over 150 vehicles, the fleet is modern, superbly maintained and most of the assignments are deliveries to supermaket RDC,s and NDC,s. Start times are varied, and we have shifts that can cater for nearly any requirement days are 0600 onwards Responsibilities Operate curtain sided vehicles, with an emphasis of superb on-site awareness. Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Ensure all delivery paperwork is signed and returned at the end of each shift. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
