They are now looking to appoint an experienced Shift Engineer to join their established engineering team at their Weston-super-Mare site.The RoleAs a Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum machine uptime and reliability across the site. Working closely with Operations and the wider Engineering team, you will provide proactive engineering support, lead breakdown response and contribute to both short- and long-term reliability improvements.This is a hands-on role where your mechanical and electrical engineering expertise, diagnostic ability and problem-solving skills will have a direct impact on site performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and successfully complete breakdown activities, minimising downtime and disruption to production.Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding and engineering activities.Support and contribute to the site''s preventative and predictive maintenance strategy.Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability and overall equipment performance.Work collaboratively with ..... full job details .....
