As Sales Director, you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities and expanding our presence within the financial institutions sector. You will develop strategic plans, foster multi-level relationships, and lead initiatives that support profitable growth. Your expertise will help shape our product offerings and distribution channels, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry change.
What You''ll Be Doing
Develop and execute strategic plans to target market sectors, aiming for annual new business value exceeding £10 million
Build and maintain high-level relationships with key partners, including financial institutions and industry stakeholders
Identify and capitalize on opportunities through innovative product development, tailored propositions, and targeted tenders
Lead sales initiatives, ensuring effective execution from prospecting to deal closure
Drive business transformation by supporting digital initiatives, enhancing sales effectiveness, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Collaborate across teams—Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Innovation—to optimize strategies and deliver integrated solutions
Support organizational change efforts, communicating priorities and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with UK and Ireland regulatory standards, prioritizing good customer outcomes and consumer protection
What You''ll Bring
Extensive experience in sales leadership within financial services or insurance sectors
Proven track record of securing high-value deals and managing complex negotiations
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop innovative solutions and business models
Exceptional relationship-building skills at senior levels, with a consultative approach to selling
Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering impactful presentations and reports
Deep understanding of UK and Ireland regulatory frameworks, including FCA guidelines
Comfort with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies
Resilience, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
