Finance Analyst - UK, Pureplayer and Australia
who will be a crucial member of the Charlotte Tilbury Commercial Finance Function - playing a key role in driving insight and supporting strategic decision-making to support Charlotte Tilbury''s ongoing success in our home market as well as Australia and New Zealand territories.In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager - UK, Pureplayer and Australia, and act as a trusted advisor to your stakeholders. Business partnering is core to the success of this role, and you will work closely with regional Commercial and Retail Operations Functions daily, as well as being a respected business partner for the UK, Pureplayer and Australia Brand Manager and senior Finance stakeholders accordingly.As a Finance Analyst - UK, Pureplayer and Australia you will
Assist with the budget and forecasting process of Retail Sales to Net Sales, working closely with Commercial and Demand Planning Functions to support with inputsWork closely with the Retail teams to forecast Retail Staffing costs for doors within the UK regionPrepare month end commentary for actuals Vs forecast for Revenue to Gross Margin, and Retail Staffing, working closely with the Operations Finance Function and Retail teamsCreate, identify, and communicate Risks and Opportunities to forecast, and maintain a schedule for working with and challenging teams on finding optimum levels for efficient use of resourcesPreparation of weekly trade reports, actively participating in weekly trade meetings to understand, challenge and identify monthly sales performance for the regionsActively contribute to the development of new business opportunities through building and analysing business case modelsSupport on post-investment appraisals and ROI analysis for commercial initiatives approved via the business casing process to evaluate impactWork closely with Accounts Receivable to ensure retailer contributions, DIF testers and returns are accurate and consistent with contractual obligationsAd hoc analysis to support the Senior Finance Manager - UK, Pureplayer and AustraliaAbout you
Part qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA, ACA with a minimum of 3 years industry experienceExperience of retail would be desirableAdvanced excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sum If, Indirect etc) and the ability to build models from scratchCommercial and analytical mindsetGood interpersonal and communication skills, having the confidence to communicate clearly with senior managementComfortable dealing with a cross section of stakeholders, both finance and non-financeAbility to think logically and methodicallyPositive ''can-do'' attitudeFlexible and proactive, with an eagerness to learnHighly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a scaling businessExperience with Anaplan, Looker, NetSuite desirable but not essentialWhy join us?
