Our customers use our NanoScience ultra-low temperature and high magnetic field environments to push the boundaries of what is possible.We are changing the role of our Manufacturing Team Leaders to oversee the entire production process of the SpectromagPT and TeslatronPT product lines—from assembly to test. This role involves working with technicians and engineers from all disciplines, resource planning and problem solving. You will lead a dynamic, cross-functional team with a focus on continuous improvement.We are looking for an experienced manufacturing team leader or engineer to oversee the manufacturing of our low volume, high product variability, low temperature measurement systems. Produce the team plan from the master production plan and manage workload to ensure milestones are achieved in terms of quality, output and efficiency.Manage assembly and test technicians, agree and implement measures and targets, monitor and control performance, and report on progress with corrective action as required.Implement improvement activities for the team and maintain the MRP system; provide production support as required.Develop staff within the area, including PDRs, objective setting and managing annual leave requests.About You / Qualifications
Experience leading a team within a modern manufacturing environment (ideally instrumentation or a test environment).Knowledge of lean techniques to maintain an organised work area, experience with an MRP system and resource planning.Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and problem solving; excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to motivate and develop your team, identify skill gaps, respond positively to change, and lead by example.Tenacity, strong organisational skills and a willingness to take on challenges.Benefits
