The workshop plays a key role in supporting boarding houses, teaching buildings and sports facilities across the campus, with a stable team and low staff turnover. The previous Lead Joiner dedicated over three decades to the school, reflecting the long term nature of the opportunity.This hands on role involves manufacturing furniture, fixtures and fittings within a well equipped workshop using panel saws, crosscut saws, spindle moulders and routers. You will produce items such as dormitory furniture, doors and bespoke estate pieces, with occasional on site fitting where required. Unlike commercial environments, the role is not driven by relentless deadlines, allowing you to focus on quality workmanship within a structured and supportive setting.
