Job Title: Corrugated Structural Designer/Estimator – SESalary: £24-26k Basic + benefitsLocation: LondonReference: J1363Contact:Role summary

This role is ideally suited to an experienced corrugated structural designer who would like to get more involved in the commercial side of the business whilst maintaining involvement in the more creative side of the business. The successful candidate will be part of the commercial team with a main focus on the design of corrugated packaging, followed by estimating and setting selling prices.Responsibilities

Design corrugated packaging for customers in industrial and consumer markets using AG CAD and Artois CAD software.Liaise with manufacturing to ensure designs can be produced economically.Acquire an understanding of manufacturing processes involved in corrugated packaging production across sites.Utilise Packaging 3000 software to generate estimates for clients.Create simple print diagrams in Adobe Illustrator.Develop and apply commercial knowledge to final price estimates.Analyse customer tenders using Excel and recommend pricing levels to senior managers.Qualifications and skills

Experience as a corrugated structural designer (preferred).Proficiency in AG CAD and Artois CAD software.Experience with Packaging 3000 software.Ability to produce simple print diagrams in Adobe Illustrator.Strong commercial awareness and numerical aptitude for pricing and tenders.Ability to collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
