RG Consultancy are delighted to be supporting an excellent, well-established manufacturer who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their small, friendly team based in Leyland on a permanent, part-time basis. The role would report into and support the Financial Controller and main responsibility would be for overseeing the sales ledger and credit control function. Working alongside another full-time Accounts Assistant, duties would include: Accurately processing and issuing sales invoices and credit notes Liaising with customers and internal departments to resolve any invoice queries Bank reconciliations Sales ledger reconciliations Credit control - chasing overdue payments via telephone and email Allocating payments Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining existing customer details Adhoc tasks as required to support Financial Controller and the wider finance function This role would be ideal for someone who has experience managing their own ledger and is used to working in a small team.
