We are currently working with our client to find an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. Our client is a London living wage employer and hold a Gold Investor in People accreditation. This is a key role that will involve contributing to the delivery of project and professional services across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients, as well as supporting the company''s growth into the commercial sector. The successful candidate will oversee a range of projects with values between 500,000 and (phone number removed), managing both pre- and post-contract stages. You will report directly to the Partner Quantity Surveyors and play a significant role in mentoring junior quantity surveyors within the team. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgetsLead procurement processes and manage tendering proceduresWork with JCT Suite of ContractsCarry out measurement in line with NRM2 standardsMonitor project financial performance and report accordinglyConduct valuations and manage project risksProvide expert advice and updates on project cost controlAn in-depth knowledge and experience of these tasks will be essential for success in this role.
