The Opportunity We''re supporting a globally recognised organisation seeking a highly technical Telemetry andamp; Observability Engineer with strong experience in instrumentation, telemetry pipelines, and cloud-native observability platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, implementing, and optimising telemetry and monitoring solutions across complex distributed environments. Please note: this is a high-bar role. We are specifically looking for engineers who can design and implement telemetry solutions, not candidates who are purely end users of monitoring tools. Key Responsibilities Design and implement telemetry and observability solutions across distributed systems Build and optimise pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and infrastructure telemetry Develop instrumentation and monitoring strategies using modern observability tooling Work closely with engineering and platform teams to improve reliability, visibility, and operational insight Configure and enhance monitoring, alerting, and visualisation capabilities Contribute to automation, CI/CD, and SRE practices across cloud-native environments Required Skills andamp; Experience Strong hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering Strong Python development and automation skills Experience with telemetry protocols and instrumentation including: SNMP/SNMP MIBs NETCONF YANG telemetry Strong experience with: Prometheus Grafana InfluxDB ClickHouse Experience designing and ..... full job details .....
