The role suits an engineer who enjoys hands-on design, technical problem solving, and close collaboration with project and delivery teams.Key Responsibilities Produce mechanical building services designs from RIBA Stage 2 through to Stage 5Design HVAC, heating, ventilation, domestic water and associated mechanical systemsPrepare calculations, schematics, technical specifications and detailed design drawingsWork closely with electrical engineers, BIM teams and project managers to ensure coordinated designsSupport design development with a focus on buildability, cost efficiency and programmeAttend design team meetings and contribute to technical discussionsRespond to technical queries from site teams and support projects through constructionEnsure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and health and safety requirementsAssist with value engineering and sustainable design solutions where appropriate Skills and ExperienceEssential Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Building Services EngineeringExperience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy or contractor environmentStrong ..... full job details .....
