We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and established children''s residential care provider seeking a dedicated-Team Leader-to join their team in Northampton.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day operation of the home, providing guidance and leadership to Residential Support Workers whilst ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children and young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate a team of Residential Support Workers.
• Promote the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
• Support the implementation and review of individual care plans.
• Conduct staff supervisions and provide ongoing guidance and development.
• Work collaboratively with social workers, therapists and other professionals.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Act as a positive role model for both young people and staff.
• Support the home''s commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children.

Requirements

Essential

• Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and children''s residential care practices.
• Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people.

Desirable

• Previous Team Leader or Senior Residential Support Worker experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
