Our client are a global consulting firm, working on a project in the Investment Banking space, they are on the lookout for a Low Latency Java Developer to come in on a contract basis. Key Skills/Requirements: Experience with Core Java development Experience building high-performance, low-latency, high-throughput applications Multithreading, concurrency and parallel programming experience Experience with JVM tuning, Garbage Collection optimisation and performance profiling Experience designing event-driven and reactive systems for Real Time processing Algorithms and data structures for performance-critical applications Experience with Linux environments and system-level performance optimisation Solid understanding of TCP/UDP networking and low-level networking concepts Experience optimising applications for resource efficiency and minimal latency Ability to identify and resolve application and JVM performance bottlenecks Contract is running for 12 months initially, paying up to £535p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be 3 days per week onsite in London. ..... full job details .....
