Brake Press Operator (Temp to Perm)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.75

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our clients manufacturing team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have proven experience operating brake press machinery, specifically Trumpf and Amada presses, and be confident working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality sheet metal components.

• Setting up and operating Trumpf and Amada brake press machines.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Producing components to required tolerances and quality standards.
• Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Meeting production targets and deadlines.

• Previous experience operating brake press machinery is essential.
• Experience with Trumpf and/or Amada presses preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Monday to Friday working hours (6:00am – 2:00pm).
