This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, with an immediate start available.About the RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who present social, emotional and mental health needs, including challenging behaviour. You will support learning both inside and outside the classroom, helping students to regulate emotions, engage in education and build positive relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needsSupport pupils exhibiting challenging behaviour, using positive behaviour strategiesAssist with the delivery of differentiated lessons across primary and secondaryPromote emotional regulation, social skills and positive learning behavioursWork closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionalsMaintain a calm, consistent and supportive approach at all timesThe Ideal CandidateExperience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, SEND or traumaConfident managing challenging behaviour in a structured and supportive mannerPatient, resilient, empathetic and emotionally ..... full job details .....
