Test Technician
Test Technician We are looking for a dedicated Production Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for production tasks related to associated projects, specifically focusing on the assembly and disassembly of required parts. You will work to deliver the correct number of units on time per the delivery plan, ensuring all activities meet strict quality and safety standards. Pay Rate Days - £21.31 Backs - £21.31+ shift pay Shifts Days: 6.30 am - 3.00pm (Mon - Thur) Days 6.30 am - 12.00 (Friday) Backs: 3.00 pm - 11.30pm Mon - Thur Back 12.00 pm - 5.30pm (Friday) Key Responsibilities Prepare units for production activities, including bogie part replacement, yaw dampers, and associated part replacement. Fully complete tasks in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), QCPs (Quality Control Plans), and Quality standards. Monitor, control, and minimize waste while maintaining high standards of housekeeping. Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. Work collaboratively to create a positive environment and deputize for the Team Leader when required. Contribute to a culture of sharing best practice. Support the design and delivery of training to colleagues, including those who are less experienced or new to the role. Clearly communicate with the Section Leader, escalating issues by exception.
