This is a key appointment for the Oxford office and represents an excellent opportunity for a Planning Solicitor with at least 3 years'' PQE looking to build their practice within a market-leading national platform.The OpportunityThe Planning team is instructed by a broad and high-quality client base including:Residential and mixed-use developersMajor retail brandsCorporate occupiersContractorsInvestors and fundersCharities and government bodiesLocal authorities and NHS organisationsThe work will be varied and engaging, with exposure to complex and high-value development matters. Typical work will involve:Strategic and tactical advice on securing planning permissionDrafting and negotiating statutory agreements (including complex s.106 and highways agreements)Planning due diligence on real estate, funding and corporate transactionsAdvice on environmental and protected-land issues (including EIA, CIL and GLA planning)Auditing planning application documents and committee reportsSupporting clients through appeals, judicial review and enforcement mattersAdvising on Assets of Community Value, Village Greens and special protection areasHighways and regeneration advisory workYou''ll have the opportunity to develop your own caseload while also working closely with ..... full job details .....
