Role: Configuration Management Specialist and Data Management Specialistl Location: Yeovil/Bristol, UK - Onsite Role Type: 12 months Role Overview: Our globally renowned aerospace client is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist and Data Management Specialist to support Fixed and Rotary Wing programmes based in Yeovil. The role is responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining robust configuration and data management processes to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, technical, and company requirements throughout the product life cycle. The post holder will work closely with programme, engineering, bid, supplier, and customer stakeholders to maintain configuration control, assure data integrity, and support audits, reviews, and governance activities across multiple defence programmes. Key Responsibilities: Configuration andamp; Programme Support Plan, implement, and maintain Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) processes across assigned programmes. Support the deployment and standardisation of configuration management processes and toolsets, including access control and security requirements. Interface with bid and programme teams to embed configuration management requirements at contract initiation and throughout programme delivery. Provide CM support at design reviews, programme reviews, and configuration control boards, ensuring consistent governance and timely closure of actions.
