Starting 1st September 2026, this part-time role (Monday to Wednesday) involves working with secondary-aged students (ages 11-16) who have struggled to access mainstream education.Many of the pupils have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, or Autism (ASD).Your goal will be to break down barriers to learning, foster trust, and help students successfully re-engage with their personal and academic development. Key Responsibilities 1:1 and Small Group Support: Assist teachers in delivering tailored activities designed to re-engage disaffected or vulnerable learners. Behavioural Mentoring: Use strong de-escalation strategies, positive reinforcement, and a calm demeanour to manage challenging behaviour and promote emotional regulation.
