I am supporting the search for a growing specialist insurer who are looking to appoint a Head of Risk and Compliance based in Manchester city centre. With ambitious plans to grow both GWP and product capability, this will be an integral hire for the organisation.Functioning as a true second-line partner, you combine regulatory rigour with commercial insight to guide senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility. The RoleAs Head of Risk and Compliance, you will lead the enterprise risk management and compliance frameworks, ensuring the business operates within risk appetite and meets all PRA and FCA requirements.You will have responsibility across risk, compliance, governance and regulatory engagement, with a remit spanning underwriting, finance, claims, operations, IT, outsourcing and reinsurance.Risk ManagementOwn and maintain the enterprise risk management framework and risk appetite, including KRIs and tolerancesLead risk identification, assessment and reporting across the businessProduce clear, high-quality risk reporting for the Executive, Board and Committees, including emerging risksOversee the ORSA process, coordinating inputs and ensuring robust challenge and regulatory-compliant outputsCompliance and Regulatory AffairsDesign and oversee a proportionate compliance monitoring programmeAct as the primary point of contact for the PRA and FCA, including submissions, notifications and supervisory engagementAdvise on regulatory change and support implementation ..... full job details .....
