The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Birmingham from October 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
 
The successful candidate will teach Edexcel Business across KS3–KS5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of key business concepts, commercial awareness and analytical skills.
 
You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT specialising in Business Studies
• Have strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Business across KS3–KS5
• Have experience delivering or supporting the Edexcel Business curriculum
• Be able to engage students and make complex business concepts accessible
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be organised, reliable and adaptable
• Build positive professional relationships with students and colleagues

 
The School
You will be joining a secondary school in Birmingham, working with students across KS3–KS5 and contributing to their academic progress in Business Studies.
 
This long-term supply opportunity offers the chance to make a positive contribution to students’ learning while delivering the Edexcel Business curriculum across a broad range of year groups.
