Job Title: Manual CNC Machinist / Manual Miller x 3 (TEMP TO PERM) Location: Based in Doncaster for training until around February 2027, then you will transfer to Barton Under Needwood and become a permanent full time employee. Mileage will be paid at £0.30pence per mile for travelling to Doncaster. Salary: Competitive Shifts: Monday Thursday 06 10. Friday 06 50. 37.5 hours per week. Overtime will be available as follows: Standard Rate (up to 37 Hours) - as per role Afternoons - plus 20% Nights - plus 30% Midweek Overtime (above 37 hours) - x 1.33 Saturday Overtime (above 37 hours) - x 1.5 Sunday Overtime (above 37 hours - x 2 Job Description: TXM Recruit are actively recruiting for a Manual CNC Machinist / Manual Miller to work within the production team to support the overhaul, manufacture, and maintenance of locomotive and wagon wheelsets, contributing to the delivery of the weekly production plan. This is a hands-on mechanical role, requiring precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on quality and safety. Job Duties: Manual CNC machinist / manual cnc miller to mill components for rolling stock wheelsets. Maintain high-quality machined products in line with daily production KPIs. Carry out maintenance, overhaul, strip-downs, rebuilds, and new builds of locomotive and wagon wheelsets. Set and operate manual CNC milling machines and manual CNC lathes.
