Sports Lecturer - Further Education

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Sports Lecturer to join our college and inspire the next generation of learners across Sports, Health & Fitness, and Academy/Enrichment programmes. This role involves teaching and assessing learners aged 14-19 and adults, from entry level up to Level 3, while contributing to curriculum development and course management.
 
What you''ll be doing:

• Delivering engaging lessons across BTEC Sport, CYQ Level 2 & 3, and enrichment coaching.
• Preparing schemes of work, learning materials and assessing student progress.
• Acting as a tutor/mentor to students, supporting achievement, progression and wellbeing.
• Contributing to curriculum development, course evaluation and continuous improvement.

What we''re looking for:

• A degree or professional qualification in Sport, Health & Fitness (or equivalent industry experience).
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Strong communication, organisation and curriculum planning skills.
• Experience teaching across a range of sports/fitness programmes.
