The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you''ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and technical repairs
·Diagnosing faults using appropriate measuring and diagnostic equipment
·Interpreting manufacturer technical data and repair instructions
·Removing and installing vehicle components using manufacturer procedures
·Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
·Preparing new and Approved Used vehicles
·Accurately completing job cards, including repairs, parts, labour and hours worked
·Reporting additional faults and delays to the Workshop Controller or Service Manager
·Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standards
·Maintaining excellent vehicle care and workshop standards
 
About You
We''re looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic with strong technical ability and a commitment to quality.
You''ll ideally have:
·Relevant automotive qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or workshop
·Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
·Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
·Excellent attention to detail
·A professional approach to health and safety
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Full UK Driving Licence
