Field Commissioning Engineer

The Field Commissioning Engineer will play a leading role in the ongoing support of automated systems and sub-systems. This role requires hands-on skills to test and modify designs as required along with advanced diagnostic and commissioning abilities. The Field Commissioning Engineer will liaise with internal and external stakeholders across Service and Support, Software and Workshop functions to solve problems to the highest standard. The position requires the provision of first-class support to clients, delivering modifications and upgrades on-site, and ensuring the ongoing safety and quality of automation systems through proactive servicing and problem solving for bespoke, robot based electromechanical systems. Primary Responsibilities: Identify root causes of electrical and software faults and implement solutions accordingly, providing feedback to appropriate departments. Delivery and integration of modifications and upgrades on site to meet the specification and processes of the customer. Provide emergency and ongoing support systems for products installed both at Loop premises and at client sites. Engage with internal and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycle and provide updates on progress and demonstrations. Ensure compliance with cross departmental policies, procedures and design requirements. Always provide excellent customer service to Loop clients.
