ParalegalLocation: HertfordReporting to: Legal DirectorSalary: £30,000 - £35,000About the RoleOur client is looking for a Paralegal to join their Hertford office, supporting a team of Solicitors with a predominantly contentious property litigation caseload.The role will focus on a broad range of property litigation matters, including service charge and ground rent debt recovery, breaches of covenant, possession matters and general Landlord and Tenant matters.You will manage your own caseload under supervision while also providing support to the wider Defended team on a range of complex matters.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle defended service charge, ground rent and possession matters relating to residential property.Review claims and assess the merits of defences and/or counterclaims.Liaise with clients and agents, providing advice and progressing matters as instructed.Review breach of covenant matters, provide advice to clients and progress cases accordingly.Ensure compliance with Court and Tribunal deadlines.Provide general Landlord and Tenant advice to clients in a timely and professional manner.Provide regular reports and updates to clients and/or agents.Provide internal legal support and advice where required.Maintain effective case management, including diarising key dates and keeping database records up to date.Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the Line Manager.Skills and ExperienceOur client is looking for someone with:A Levels or equivalent Level 3 ..... full job details .....
