MOT Tester Role OverviewAs an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for performing thorough MOT assessments on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, ensuring compliance with national safety standards. You play a crucial role in maintaining customer confidence in vehicle safety and reliability.

You will be required to work 40 hrs per week - Monday to Friday 8:30am til 5pm and Saturdays on a rota basis (approx.1 in 4) 8am til 2pm.

Key Responsibilities As An MOT Tester

Conduct comprehensive MOT tests.

Complete a comprehensive VHC and accompanying video of defects identified.

Document and report all findings accurately, maintaining records required by the DVSA.

Collaborate with mechanics and other technical staff to resolve any identified issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated with the latest MOT testing regulations and vehicle technologies, regularly update MOT Club records to maintain dealer required DVSA standards.

Essential Qualities For The Ideal Candidate

Valid DVSA MOT Tester qualification with proven experience in vehicle testing.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.

Effective communication skills to liaise with colleagues and customers.

Valid UK Drivers Licence.
