Our Fareham based client is seeking a professional Class 2 driver to assist with Temp to Perm opportunity with immediate start Safely operate HGV2 / LGV2 / Class 2 vehicles Deliver palletised / Caged Goods - Deliveries include Gatwick/Heathow Airports Complete vehicle checks - Reporting and logging and defects Ensure accurate delivery paperwork and digital records Provide excellent customer service / customer facing role Work efficiently to meet delivery schedules Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling when required Follow all relevant health and safety procedures Licensing and Driving Compliance Category C Qualification: Must hold a valid, active UK Category C (Class 2 / LGV2) driving licence. Professional Credentials: Possession of a valid Driver CPC (DQC) card and an active Digital Tachograph card is mandatory. Insurance Criteria: Clean driving record preferred, allowing a maximum of 3 minor penalty points (e.g., SP30) to comply with restrictive fleet insurance policies. Exclusions: Zero tolerance for major motoring convictions, including DD, DR, CD, or IN10 codes. Proven Experience and Operational Skills Road Time: Minimum of 6 months of verifiable HGV driving experience handling rigid vehicles in the UK. Delivery Profiling: Proven track record in executing Class 2 multidrop deliveries Equipment Mastery: Competent in safely operating hydraulic vehicle tail-lifts alongside manual and electric pallet trucks.
