Are you an experienced Senior Electronics Test Engineer seeking a new permanent role? We have an exciting opportunity to work for a long established and very successful, award winning manufacturing company based in Southend on Sea, Essex. As a Senior Electronics Test Engineer you will be dealing with the following: Functional Testing of board level audio products. Ensure the equipment is properly tested, calibrated, and certified according to corresponding test procedures. Experienced at fault find electronics down to the component level to determine cause and remedy any faults. Fault find and repair final assemblies and sub-assemblies as required. Reworking boards as required to a high standard of accuracy, this will include single sided and PTH multi-layer PCBs with through hole and surface mount components. Provide technical support to the production team when necessary. Production and maintenance of test procedures are required in conjunction with Design. Ability to read and understand circuit schematics, and ability to understand functionality of analogue and digital circuits of moderate complexity. Good organisation and time management to ensure jobs are carried out in a timely manner. Responsible for following health and safety procedures are being followed.
