To be a clinical expert and have overall continuing responsibility for the delivery of high quality patient care in the Intensive Care unit, and Surgical HDU demonstrating clinical leadership.Responsibilities

Carries out specialist nursing procedures in caring for critically ill adultsBe responsible for the supervision and development of all nurses, support workers and students (including medical students on placement)Contribute to the effective management of department resources including pay and non-pay budgets, human resources and the clinical environmentContribute to the development of policies and evidence-based practice as appropriateMaintain a safe clinical environment conducive to patient careAbout the employer
