OverviewThe Sales and Events Manager will support the venue team by managing all inbound event enquiries, executing sales tactics and driving brand awareness as part of a broader Business Development strategy. Success in this role means understanding the wider sales strategy whilst identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities across all revenue streams for their venue and building strong relationships within the local community. The role is accountable for fulfilling all inbound event enquiries for their venue, knowing our products in depth as a key brand ambassador, focusing on maximising revenue opportunities.

The JobThe Sales and Events Manager will support the venue team by managing all inbound event enquiries, executing sales tactics and driving brand awareness as part of a broader Business Development strategy. The role requires building strong relationships within the local community and capitalising on opportunities across all revenue streams for the venue.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all inbound events for the venue from enquiry through to execution; be the point of contact for all event buyers, ensuring timely communication with customers and venue teams, and accurate information entry into the system in line with SLAs.
Maximising revenue opportunities through efficient diary optimisation and upselling across all revenue streams.
Networking — work with the Business Development Manager to execute sales outreach campaigns and support exhibitions, pop ups, networking and guerrilla marketing regularly.
CRM management – collaborate with the BDM to keep CRM data up to date, including contact management, cleansing, and use of CRM tools for reporting and mailer campaigns.
Third party management – act as the key contact for third party bookings as required by the BDM; build relationships with key third party bookers, organise ‘FAM trips’ and provide regular reporting.
Stakeholder relationships – liaise with Reservations, Events and Operations to ensure timely delivery of event contracts, event management and client feedback.
Understanding of site performance; become an expert on revenue streams and trading patterns to identify opportunities and challenges for the venue and its neighbourhood.
City and competitor knowledge – be at the heart of the community, sharing insights with the BDM and marketing to identify awareness opportunities.
To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll
Be a passionate brand ambassador and a confident communicator.
Be eager to learn, a self-starter, and capable of working independently when needed.
Have experience in a similar hospitality role.
Have systems experience with CRM; experience with DesignMyNight, Canva and PowerBI is beneficial.
