A growing fire safety consultancy is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their team in Newcastle. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will manage a varied portfolio of properties across the North East, completing detailed assessments and providing clear, practical fire safety advice.The Fire Risk Assessor''s RoleThe appointed Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for undertaking high-quality fire risk assessments across residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings.Key duties will include:Completing Type 1-4 fire risk assessments where requiredAssessing fire safety measures, escape routes and compartmentationIdentifying hazards, deficiencies and areas of non-complianceProducing detailed reports with clear remedial actionsReviewing existing fire safety documentationLiaising with clients, building managers and contractorsProviding practical advice on current fire safety legislationManaging their own workload across Newcastle and the wider North EastThe Fire Risk AssessorThe successful Fire Risk Assessor will be required to have:Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualificationStrong experience carrying out fire risk assessmentsGood knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and current UK fire safety guidanceExperience working across a variety of building typesStrong report-writing and client-facing skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple assessmentsA full UK driving licenceMembership of a recognised professional body such as the IFE ..... full job details .....
